Today, on May 7, 2017 at Independence Square in Astana there has taken place the military parade dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The military parade was opened by the President of Kazakhstan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr.Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The military parade of 2017 was the largest march of military force types of Kazakhstan army, this parade in all respects surpassed all the military parades conducted earlier and on the scale fully corresponded to the important anniversary date.

More than 5 000 servicemen being a part of 26 foot-mobile parade counting offs marched at Independence Square in Astana measuring out the pace. The mechanized column was demonstrated by about 300 units of advanced models of military equipment and weapons.  The power and combat readiness of Kazakhstan aviation in the sky were showed by about 70 units of aviation equipment of Air Defense Forces of the country. At the same time Kazakhstan citizens for the first time could estimate personally new military equipment, new samples of arms, both domestic and foreign production, filled up a fighting arsenal of our army in 2016 and 2017.

“Arlan” armored wheeled vehicles, produced by “Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering” LLP for the first time took part in the military parade.

“Arlan” AWVs last year were delivered to the military units of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
