Today representatives of the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association of Germany (VDMA), headed by the Executive Director Tilo Broadtmann, got acquainted with the activities of the plant producing armored wheeled vehicles – “Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering” LLP.

During the visit, VDMA representatives looked around the entire production process: areas for laser cutting of metals, plasma and water jet cutting, bending of armored steel, welding of armored hulls, painting and workshop for the assembly of armored vehicles.

"We really liked the enterprise. In a short period of time the company was able to build a plant and arrange high-tech production. We were very impressed", T. Broadtmann said.

“Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering” LLP is the first plant in Central Asia producing modern armored wheeled vehicles with enhanced mine protection according to MRAP type. The enterprise produces such types of armored vehicles as “Arlan” AWV, “Nomad” AWV and “Barys” APV with 6x6 and 8x8 wheel arrangement. These vehicles are among the best in the world in their class.  

Mechanical Engineering Industry Association of Germany (VDMA) is one of the largest industrial associations in Europe, which includes about 3200 participants.
