A national hero and army general Mukhtar Altynbayev visited “Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering” LLP, the plant that produces armored wheeled vehicles.

“Nowadays, when most conflicts come as a result not of a clashes between two state armies, but after partisan or terrorist attacks in a city, armored wheeled vehicles with mine blast protection are very needed for our army", said Mukhtar Altynbayev.

General Director of the plant Yerbol Salimov showed in details the technology of production of armored vehicles “Arlan”, “Alan” and armored personnel carrier “Barys” with 6x6 and 8x8 configurations.

“The production of the plant is fully established. Currently, the local content level is at 70%. In addition, we have created a design and engineering offices where we employ young specialists, who received degrees through “Bolashak” program. These departments will be used to develop new technologies and vehicles”, said Yerbol Salimov.
